Who Will Survive?

Most people are aware of the survivalist movement out there–people who have reinforced bunkers stocked with survival kits, supplies and weapons.  The stereotype of these people is a camouflage-clad fringe group with itchy trigger fingers. And of course we know the political elite have their “undisclosed locations” where they’ll be spirited away if things go south. Of course we don’t know much about those locations, or who all is in the club, but we know we never will be, so we don’t give it much thought.
But if those two groups have planned for mega-catastrophe’s, it’s a pretty safe bet that others have too, right?Â
Certainly there are people with far greater resources than the “mom-and-pop” survivalists who are thinking along the same lines. Among the multi-millionaire and billionaire set there are those who see the writing on the wall even more clearly than those of us at ground level. How many magnificent hilltop mansions do you suppose have equally impressive protected bunkers underneath? I’m guessing there are thousands of such bunkers.
And then there are the corporations that are certainly dodging taxes by siphoning off profits into magnificent reinforced facilities. No doubt the executives of some of these corporations will have their pick of comfortable locations to wait out the collapse of civilization. We know there are such facilities. The question is just how many and how extensive they are. Check out this fascinating video series for information about massive underground and undersea facilities that you won’t read about in the mainstream press:
In all I’m guessing there are millions of people worldwide who are fully prepared to not just survive but thrive through the disintegration of the human. So, short of a “global killer” type asteroid or some other complete act of God, it’s a safe bet that a fragment of humanity will survive the apocalypse. Furthermore, when they do emerge–probably years after the events–they very well may step into a fresh new world once again teaming with life and all the resources they could ever need.

Of course I have absolutely no evidence of this. They are obviously closely guarded secrets.  But there are those who have a lot more information than I do that claim this is indeed the case who assert confidently that his is indeed the case.

I knew it! And interestingly I had just discovered SurvivalTopics in doing research just after writing this article. It is an awesome website. Tons of info. But I was looking for a way to network with others and didn’t find it. Is there a way to form that network within this site?
